(As I stand-up and face everyone with a tear in my eye, fully ashamed)... "My name is Scott and I'm a bass fisherman."  I'd like to introduce myself to the club, as it were, as the latest member and just say "hi".  I'm really not as bad as my wife makes me out to be so plz be kind!  We live in Lincoln Park so any time someone's in the area downriver, I'm game for a run to the river.  We just upgraded to a "new" used Champion that I can't wait to get on the water once I'm recovered from a bad work accident/surgeries and can walk in a few wks.

I hope to learn some new things and share whatever I can, thanks!

When you are in any contest you should work as if there whereto the very last minute a chance to loose it.

Welcome.
And just for the record we're all probably worse than our wives make us out to be.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Welcome Rat,

You have stumbled onto the Premier Online Michigan Bass Fishing Forum.  You will like it here.  Everyone is friendly and willing to help.  You wont find any of the drama that plagues so many other boards.  So sit back and enjoy, and welcome.

Thanks all.  I guess I should have said in the beginning that I have a slighlty odd sense of humor so I'll apologize now...

Lightningboy:  I've got a 200 Optimax on the back of a 193 Elite DC.

McCarter:  Many moons ago before my job took me on the road fulltime I was on a few other boards and became tired of the constant bickering and I looked here for awhile before joining and hope to enjoy the company, thx.

We try to keep the bickering to a minimum. People can get their bickering fill some other places. Hope you recover well and keep visiting with us.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Welcome River Rat.  I fish down your way a lot.  I own a 1993 Champion 184 FS Dual Console.  I got a lot of spots in the river as well as along the Erie North Shore.  I also like to hit the Hot Pond that is down around Monroe.  We can meet at Bolles one day and I will show you how to get in there without losing a lower unit.
