I had the pictures done but never posted a fishing report for a dog days of summer fishing trip last August 12, 2015 for another visit to Round Lake. Here's a few pictures rather than a detailed report (since I can't remember many details now).

I started out the morning catching a small bass right away on a Super Pop'R! It wasn't very big but topwater is always fun!

A little later I switched to pitching, casting and dipping a Bullet Craw in and around weeds to pop this keeper.

To keep things interesting I broke up the day tossing a white Depo$it Swim Jig too to hook a few bass. I forgot to take a picture of this bass though I took a picture of the Swim Jig from Kustom Kicker Jigs!

One problem with Round Lake, and spinnerbaits and swim jigs is the pike and dogfish! This was a typical pike though sometimes the pike were a lot bigger!

Later in the day I was pitching the Bullet Craw off a main lake point dropoff to whack this nice bass. Bassmaster hookset and this bass is mine! For a minute anyway until I release it after a quick picture.

Speaking of Big Pike - here's a bigger one that HAMMERED my white Kustom Kicker Jigs Depo$it Swim Jig 3 days later on a trip I made to Round Lake on August 15th. I ended up landing 3 pretty big pike from Round Lake over the summer and got big off a number of times seeing 2 even bigger pike!

I was using an Angling AI poured swim bait trailer on the jig. They LOVE those swim baits!
