Hi guys,

Looking for advice.

Looking at hitting the NW Mich area for smallies Nov 5 - 8.  Fishing full days, Thursday - Sunday.  My annual B-Day trip.  Was planning to go to Simcoe as part of annual trip, but thinking I might keep it Pure Michigan this year.

My plan is to hit....
The East Bay as wind permits
Lake Charlevoix (love fishing that lake)
Intermediate Lake
Possibly Bellaire, Torch, not sure.

Thoughts and/or comments welcome.  Not sure of water temps, lakes turning over, etc.  I figured they all should be pretty good.  Looks like the weather should hold water temps where they are now or cool them off just slightly.

Tight lines.

Wags.

I was on Elk/Torch/Clam/Bellaire last weekend and water temps were 55.  I've seen some other fish reports from Burt/Mullet where they were catching monsters.

Make sure you hit Bellaire.  It has good smallies and you might get a shot at one of these!

.

Thanks.  It hit an A-rig.  5 minutes later I caught a 5 lb smallie in pretty much the same spot on the same bait.

Did you go, and how was the fishing?

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
