It was a great day out on Saginaw Bay today. My fishing buddy and I, lets say, tore it up today!!! Unbelievable day out there on Lake Huron/ Saginaw Bay. Ended up with over 50 Smallies with the average being 4lbs. And yes I absolutely mean that!!!! 4lb avg.. With biggest at over 6lbs. We worked hard to figure it out and find them, but when we did, it was on!! Im not going to go into details on location but we did catch them in a few different places. The Bay is gigantic, so im not worried about giving away our location. LOL.. Hehehehehe!! :P

We threw a lot at em and most worked. Blade Baits / Spinnerbaits / Dropshots / SquareBills / Deep Divers / Tubes. They all worked at different times, but we really dialed it in today.  Ended up with over 50 smallies / 4 Walleys / 3 Sheepshead / 1 Largemouth / 6 WhiteBass.  It was one of those days that occurs once every 5 years or so. UNREAL!!

Anyways im gonna try to figure out how to get some pics on here and post em. What a day!!! WOW

Sounds like a fun day but what's up with those fish in your first pic? They look dead

Coop

Dead? Lol! How do you come to that presumption? Bro I have a great livewell.. No dead fish in that photo. All of those fish were caught within 1hr. We let em go right after that photo. The other photos were singles and they were released right after the picture. darn man.....  fish police on here... lol.. chill pill??

I was just asking because their eyes look weird. I have seen dead fish and even handled a couple fish out of a livewell that wasnt doing good and their eyes look exactly like the ones in your pic.   I'm not doubting your livewell or the way you handle fish, maybe something was wrong with them before you caught them?!? especially if you were near the Saginaw River..lol. You never know what could come outta that water. No worries.. Fish police off duty now and on my way to take some chill pills

Good job. I love fishing Saginaw Bay (when it's not rough)! Haven't been there in awhile so it is on my todo list.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
