I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

The word I get from my niece who lives on Half Moon is that the water level is so high that getting into Patterson through the tube is a "probably not" situation.  The same she said for Blind Lake.  (at least it was true as of 10 days ago.  She said the water is still going down but is up in her lawn.
The water level is still over the docks and sea walls in many places.  In fact, it was so high that many home owners took their docks out.

The Half Moon chain fishes pretty much like you'd read in the books.  If you have good topo maps you will see the main lake points, and the off shore sunken islands.  With the water level so high, it might make it easier to go down the chain into Highland.  It will also make it easier to get into Bruin.  Both of these lakes I'm not good at as I hardly ever go to them.

But if my niece is correct, Patterson, Woodburn, and Blind lakes won't be a factor as they will be inaccessable.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

i suggest going into highland lake, and fishing the entire tournament there, that is where the fish are, that is what i would do, derrek

I'm sorry but I know nothing about the Half Moon Chain, but I do know that if water levels are high the fish will follow that water up into new cover.  If you find docks, trees and picnic tables under water you should fish them.  As far as I know when the water moves up so do the fish.
