I hit a deer with my truck and trailer on the way up north and cracked my boat up pretty well.  I destroyed both windshields, the trolling motor, motor cowl, and broke the seats right out of the platform.  I have insurance, but I am not sure how it is all going to pan out.
Anyone know where to get a set of windshields??? I also need the seat mount insert that mounts directly to the boat.  Basically the hole that the lift goes into.
Not a good way to start the year.  Doesn't look like I will be fishing the tourney tommorrow.
Help.......

Man - what a bummer - I hope it works out ok for you.
Here is a website soemone posted for windshields -  hope it helps.

Man, I guess when it rains , it poors! I too hope everything works out alright for you! Hopefully you can get-r-done fairly quickly so you don't lose your whole summer. We look forward to this for so long during the winter to have something like this happen this early in the year really sucks.

djkimmel

Don't remember what brand boat you have, but the seat mount bases might have to come from the boat maker through a dealer depending on that brand and year.

Sorry to hear this. We have so many deer pretty much everywhere. Try to look at that you got all your bad luck for the year out of the way now so everything else should go great - that's what I hope happens for you anyway.

I feel for you.  Something like that never happens on the way to park the boat for the winter.  And summer is just so darn short.

I too hope it all works out for you as quickly and as painlessly as possible.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Thanks guys,  I was able to patch it up enough to get it on the water..I didn't fish the tournament, I was pretty frustrated and didn't get a chance to prefish much at all.
My boat is a 90 Ranger commanche dual console.  I called wonderland and I will be trying to work from them as soon as I hear from my insurance company.  Hopefully they can get the parts for that old of a boat.

djkimmel

Ranger keeps all their old molds and lots of parts for their boats available. I have a 1993 and so far no problems getting any parts for the boat or trailer.
