May Fly Hatch??

I was out on the Chippewa river( near midland) last night and the hatch is going on there.

How do you approach fishing during the hatch? Old timers have told me not to even waste my time fishing during this time bc they will not bite while the hatch is going on. I have a hard time believing this.

   It worked for me on Green one time.  Thanks for confirming it Mark.  At first I thought the gentle swirls were panfish...... until i got a good look at a smallie.

My best trip have been during the hatch on lake from the Carolina's to MI and Maine. Love it.
