Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

So a good friend of mine and brother in Christ called me up the other day and offered me a gift.  He knew I only have a Sonar up front on my boat and I wish I could afford a GPS up there.  So he had a 480 just like I have on my console and offered it to me for free.  He was gonna sell it and he said he felt that God wanted him to give it to me.  What a nice thing to do.  So I installed it and was rockin' some GPS up front FINALLY!

I know Christians aren't perfect, but every so often it's great to be the recipient of some good old Christian kindness.  Sometimes I think God does little things like that just to help us settle down and get a little perspective.  Things have been pretty stressful in my life (in a good way) lately, so this little blessing gave me a smile and helped me remember that God's in charge and He's got it all under control.

So to pay it forward, I have an X-96 sonar that needs a good home.  I don't have a transducer for it because it's still on my boat, but the head unit and mounting hardware are all there.  It's been a reliable sonar for me, so if you can find a cheap used transducer for it and want the unit just let me know and I'll meet up with ya.

Thanks for sharing! I need to put more emphasis on random acts of kindness. I think every single person can make a difference. I know I feel better when I see it, hear it or do it. Nice friend!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
