Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

What is the first 3-4 lures you are going to throw at the opener. I'll start us up :

Faster
1: Xr50 rattletrap / yozari rattletrap : perch n shad
2: jerk baits. : ghost, chartreuse shad
3: spinnerbait : white red, white chartreuse orange,

Slower
4:  Kustom kicker freak or darter head with a Nemisis bullit craw, or a little swim tail bait.
5:  Xtreme bass tackle 5" tubes with 1/4 or 5/16 gama. Wayne nailed it with key colors in Canadian mist or drab olive with big black fleck when its cloudy or windy, great lakes bass and Muskegon goby, and G3 as clarity improves (You won't need the triple threat until summer, for some reason, that really works well in deeper water, 12-19 fow)  ;D

One of these 5 will get me at least a 5 lbr (and even a 6) every spring.

Anyone else ?
Thanks Dan for bringing year round Catch and Release to Michigan

I usually start with a jerkbait (vision 110) and rattletrap (yozuri) as my search bait. If I find some fish then I may slowdown with a tube and dropshot.
If nothing seems to be working then I'll start make long slow casts with a cflash crankbait.

Colors depend on the water clarity at the time. More natural if clear and brighter if I'm in dirty water.
