I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

We are having network server issues causing very slow response

I'm working on getting with my network people to find out what is going on with GreatLakesBass.com. It is actually the whole server and possibly a network issue. You may be unable to get to the website or it will load very slow and/or incompletely. Sorry.

I hope to have it resolved sometimes soon. I think it may be network because support is also going very slow.

I realize people having issues won't be able to see this message but some of you are connecting and the performance in the past 30 minutes has been up and down so I wanted to let those who reach this message know there is some type of issue and that I'm working on it.

It seems to be getting better now but it may occur again if this is a network connectivity issue beyond just this server.

Yes. I was correct. There is a datacenter connectivity issue that is affecting all webservers. It appears that they are making progress on it as websites are responding much better now and server load it very low. I was having trouble getting with support too due to same Internet network connectivity problem somewhere along the pipeline to my server.

I was reading an article that said North Korea was hacking into South Koreans networks, maybe they decided to target Greatlakesbass.com to find out all your secrets.
When you are in any contest you should work as if there whereto the very last minute a chance to loose it.

I actually have some problems from a few Korean IP ranges but it is usually just spammers looking for easy targets.

Luckily, whatever the actual issue was it only lasted 15 to 20 minutes for me before it seemed to be mostly resolved. Nerds...

Oh... and I already gave away most of my secrets. But I saved 3, maybe 4, for my seminars Friday at 2 and Saturday in the Super Bass Clinic 3pm - 5pm.
