I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I was flipping around and I saw Chuck Woolery selling fishing lures on QVC. So that's what he's been up to since the Love Connection.

Anyways, the lures are motorized..ha but they look pretty cool. Has anyone ever heard of them or actually used one? The idea looks innovative. I found his website, you guessed it.

I might buy one if anyone has some good feedback.

Note from Dan: If you want to buy one of these you can find the web site by searching for it. I prefer not to have this link on my web site at this time.

I remember chuck being on Beat Charlie Moore and fishing with the "motolure", they were actually catching fish with it. I try not to buy into those "gimmicky" type things, but I somehow ended up with chatterbaits, helicopter lures, and the banjo minnow...

Cheetam

I have never used one, but if it looks like something you would feel confident in using, then I'd say buy one and try it out.  Personally, I would save my money and buy a Lucky Craft...Oh, and welcome to the forums!

thanks! well you know i'm always in search of a good lure. whether is looks dumb or not, i'll try anything once. that's interesting that he was catchin stuff, it probably looks like a half-dead fish wiggling around like that. his fishing rod antenna is pretty cool. might make the truck look a little more rugged!  :P

Hooksetter

I actually have one! A friend of mine gave me one when he opened a tackle store [CCW Lures, now closed]. I used it a few times, after I stopped laughing. I didn't catch anything with it except some odd stares from other guys fishing on Woodland Lake that day!

I still have it and it still works, mechanically speaking.

I would spend my money on some Sammys if I were you. I KNOW they catch bass.

Welcome to GLB.

Willie
Peace.
