Fished the Hawg Tournament this past weekend up on Duck and Green in Interlochen. Lot of fun. Four hours on one lake four on the other. You weigh one fish from each and best weight takes home all the money. Winner take all. Wind blew hard, and the fish bit slow but good day for us. I have pictures and the article on the teardropbass.com web page.

Great job that's a very good way to end the year.

I've been out getting some Salmon but I need to get back out on Green a couple more times this year.

They are calling for 1" of snow tonight and rain all weekend.

Some raw weather. Don and I had been talking to Tony D. and Ron F. about fishing some tournament that Tony and Ron fish every year this weekend in Alpena. They said it's a ball and they catch a bunch of fish, but.... rain mixed with snow and possible accumulation. I'm too old for that. I hope we get some half way decent weather after this cold spell. I too would like to get back out to Green and Hamlin in Ludington and maybe the bay. My son is coming home for a week from Lake Tahoe where he lives  and it would be fun to go catch some big smallies with him. Some really nice guys up at Interlochen this weekend. Was fun.

Yeah this upcoming weekend in Alpena, Alpena Bass Club's late season opens, Saturday on Grand and Sunday on Long (or maybe the other way around??)  Team tournament and 10 fish limit, lots of big fish.  Savage and his wife fished it last year I believe Savage and Chase5004 are fishing together this year.
