I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Water Pressure Gauge

I took my boat out today for a test run.  The water pressure hose popped off from the back of the gauge on the dash board.  Now the gauge doesn't work.  Seems like it spun all the way around.  Does anyone know if there is a way to reset this or will it need to be replaced?  I wasn't sure if there was air in the line or how to bleed it.  Any ideas?

Lightningboy

Cut the tip of the line, and reconnect.  Should work, barring problems with the gauge.

Does the gauge read zero at rest?  A working water pressure gauge should read zero at rest.  Sometimes the gauge has some water in it when stored, and quits working.  They rarely read zero at rest when that happens.

The gauge does not read 0.  It looks like it went all the way around.  I think the term used in the racing industry is "Burried".

Sounds like you need a new water pressure gauge.   :(

That's what I was afraid of...  At least it happened before tourney time  :)
