Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

I broke my Senko rodand I need to get some ideas for a new one.I have heard alot about Kistler, but i could careless what kind it is.I am kind of odd though because I use a light action fast tip 7 foot.Just curious what people use.

I have a kistler senko rod and its ok but its way over priced and the warranty sucks.  Look at the Lews Tournament Laser rod for the money you can't beat it and if you want to save a little bit look at the SL Laser rod,  they are very light, great sensitivity with a great warranty.

Waterfoul

Any quality Medium action, fast or extra fast tip rod will do.  To me senko fishing isn't all about feeling the tick... I use yellow Power Pro with a floro leader and I almost always see the line move before I feel the fish.  See the line move, set the hook.  Fish in the boat!
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

Manxfishing

I have a Kistler 6'-9" Helium med casting rod that I throw Senko's wacky with. For me I think it's the perfect rod for that
Soft tip, sensitive and well built

Kistler does sell more then a few other rods that they call Senko rods
but there MH's

fiker

All of my rods are St. Croix Avids, all except my Senko rod.  For that technique I use a Fish Eagle II from Cabelas that is 6'6 in length.   I've tried my Avids for worms, but like the Fish Eagle better.

I use the 20# Power Pro in yellow color on it, and usually use an 8# fluoro leader a few feet long.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

I agree that I don't think a rod makes much of difference in fishing a senko, since it is a do nothing bait. Any rod you can cast a light weight senko out will do...
