Inland Waterway Bass Fishing Closure Defeated

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Thanks Don. I hope your wife gets better very soon.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Best wishes to your wife. If it wasn't such a drive, I would buy your tickets. But unfortunately, my next day off isn't until May when we all meet at LSC.

Don,

I hope the wife is feeling better, and don't feel bad, you didn't miss anything at the auto show.  It was one of the most un-eventful auto shows I have ever attended.

My dad and I took my son, and if I weren't in good company, I would have been seriously disappointed.  Oh well, we went to Mexican village for lunch and salvaged the day!
