Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Looking for a boat...

Big dreams

I am in the initial stages of looking for a new boat.  Right now, I am in the 10-15k range.  I would like something with a 200 or 225 pushing it.  I would also like it with the ladder on the back.  I am not sure if Triton created that future or not.  An extra wide deck is a plus so I don't have to dance with my seat and chance falling overboard...that ladder would come in handy.  I am torn between a single and dual console.  Single has so much more room so I think I would go with a single this time around.  Last thing is it has to have hydraulic steering.  The last one I had '96 Champ did not have it.

What do you guys think?  Send me your recommendations and anything I might have missed.  I am looking for Year Make and Model if possible.  Looking forward to hearing from you all.

Thanks!

There was a nice Champion listed on the forum not too long ago that was going for $15000.  If I didn't already have one, I would have bought it.

Whatever you do, make sure you drive the boat before you buy it. Take it to a lake that will allow you to really run it, so you can be sure there are no high speed problems like I had.

If River Rat's Champion is still up for grabs, I would check on that if I were you. A buddy of mine just bought one, and it rides like a dream. Handles big water really nice too.

I could have helped you out a week ago or if this was in the "boat for sale" section... Good luck, sir.

I am toying with the idea of selling my 2005 Legend LE-195 this winter.  It will be in the 15-19K range w/ a 175 Evinrude DI on it.  Great boat with hardly any hours on it.

I should have posted earlier.  I just purchased a Triton TR20 about a month ago.

I knew someone was going to ask  :)  I will get them tonight and put them on here.  I have to say, I love the single console.  I think that is my favorite thing about the boat.

Lucky for you, you will never have to ride on the passenger side! ;D  Congrats on the new rig!
