I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

St. Clair would be awesome. If you feel like driving about 4 hours north, I will be at my property for the weekend of the 4th and for an additional 2 weeks after that. There are tons of great fishing lakes including Fife Lake, Lake Cadillac, Grand Traverse Bay, Lake Mitchell, Manistee River (excellent for smallies from what I have heard), and a few more the I can't remember. You are more than welcome to join us up there if you like. Shoot me a PM if you would like to join in on the festivities.

Traverse Bay usually starts spawning around then.

Skulley

Lake Erie, Lake St. Clair, Saginaw Bay, or Grand Traverse Bay.  Also Little Traverse Bay can be great too during that week.  Good luck and be safe.

You could camp at Whitewater campground on Elk Lake. You can fish Elk Lake or run about a mile right into shallower Skegemog Lake. Up by Elk Rapids Michigan.

I haven't stayed there in a long time but they had a decent boat ramp and I've heard it is still a decent place to stay from friends. Scenic. Clean.

Most of the big lakes up there have camping on or near them if there's a particular lake you're interested in.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

TC area bays have real good fishing on them that week.  But you are going to have to fight all the tourists up there that week.  Myself included.  Its pretty crazy with everyone up there.  Definetly wouldn't recomend it during the weekend of the 4th.  But during the week you would be good to go.  The water is perfect up there!
