Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Had a great morning on wolvarine lake near walled lake.  got there about 8:30 to find the launch almost empty.  the lake has a no wake speed limit until 11:00 am.  didn't really know where to go so started fishing docks.  caught a nice keeper on the first one.  the lake has nice weeds near shore with some deep water pads near the dam.  got a little windy so I stayed on the docks.   must have caught 25 bass most keepers with a couple 3 pounders.  did catch 4 pike and had 2 really big ones follow my jig in.  about 11:10 the speed boats and jet skiis came out.   If you want a fun lake to fish try it,  there is something for everyone there.  lots of weed beds and pads.   The no wake until 11:00 is also nice.

Dartag fishing docks ???  Pretty soon your going to have to sell off the drop shot rod....

Wolverine lake can be a blast, especially in the morning as there are no skiiers or jet ski's until 11:00 AM. After 7:30PM the lake is no-wake also.

Fishing the deep spots in the evening towards the south of lake holds some nice pike!!

me and the world famous Kev were there last saturday.  there was only 1 other boat on the  lake in the high winds.  had fun and caught a lot of nice bass.  and a couple pikes.   great lake.

Wolverine is really close to me, so I head there after work some times. It is a great dock lake and the pads on the west side of the lake can be a good frog bite.

Don't even turn the depth finder on anymore.    got to admit it is fun skipping under a pontoon and watching the line take off.  funny i never knew pike lived under them boats also.   The drop shot rods just pout in the rod locker.

i live less than 7 minutes from Wolverine and have only been out there 3 times.  Most recently was about 2 monthes ago with Bobber.  We had a pretty good nite out there with 2 fish over 4 lbs and a bunch of scrappy 2 lbers.  lost quite a few jigs to pikemasters tho.

This was my favorite lake from the early 70's to the mid 90's. Now i fish it only 3-6 times a year and still enjoy it. Hard to keep those pike off your dd22's though.....

Hook n Look had a show on Wolverine a few weeks back.  Stricker was fishing with an old buddy of his.  They did catch some nice bass.  Been a few years since I have been there.  Good night lake.  Black spinnerbaits with Colorado blades.  If my memory serves me right we were using Black Rattling Strike King Midnight Specials.  We hammered em too. ;D
