This is a tale of two lakes. Intertwined lakes, in Barry County, Michigan. Where somehow the water has gone away. Upper and Lower Crooked Lakes, both near and dear to me, are suffering from the lowest water levels I've seen in the 35+ years I've been fishing them.

A trip to Ray Scott's

Dan

I recently got an email from Jimmy Kientz, Ray Scott's right hand man. I met Jim when Don and I went down to fish Ray's ponds. Jim says he has recently bought another Harley and one has to go. He wanted me to pass the info along. If you are a motorcycle guy and want a babied Harley you may want to look at this one. Also, if you were to buy it you'd have a good excuse to ride down to Montgomery, AL to pick it up. While you're there Jimmy just might give you a tour of Ray's place. Here is some of the info Jim had in his email and pictures.

So I am going to try and find a good home (emphasis on "good") for the 1988 [Vintage] Classic.  You seem to know everybody and thought you might know of someone who would appreciate having something like this in their garage to ride on special occasions.  I'd like to get what I have in it...$9,750 – but if I can find the right person I might come down a bit.

Please circulate this to your friends and see if there is someone out there who would give this bike the TLC that it has always received.
