Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just before the October Natural Resources Committee meeting on Thursday, October 9, Commissioner John Walters added an amendment to Fisheries Order 206 – “Bass - Closed bass CIR season from May 1 – Friday before the third Saturday in June for Burt, Mullet, Crooked, Pickerel, and Black Lakes and their connecting waters.”

these are some fish caught on widowmaker tubes the end of march on a lake on the arizona utah border by danny d and david .....and dannys write up  thanks danny for the report.......ha ha ha well boys these are border jumpin smallies some in arizona some in utah but i guess i can let u in on my secret choices for smallies ha ha ha i believe the color codes are 101 105 108 110 113 119 basically every tube that i have in my possession from Drop Shot Denny are amazing color choices and these are baits that im not sharing at all... no way... there my baits and mine alone the most amazing tube ive fished with in quite some time im thoroughly impressed and when i run out i can guarantee that i will be ordering many more  d and david....

Those are some really nice smallmouths from Lake Powell! I just might have to pick up some of those tubes if these guys can catch that size of smallmouth there they must really catch some monsters out here!
