I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Updated the original post.  A few changes for this year, first will be $1,000 guranteed and we are also have big bass at $500 guranteed.  We still have the largmouth big bass bounty, it is $150 at 25 boats but we are working with a few sponsors to try and get that guranteed as well.  Hopefully with the later date this year we'll have better weather and less conflicts.
Thanks, Matt

Got out on the bay monday for a few hours.  They are early pre-spawn, the cold nights have pushed back what I thought would be an early spring up there.  Only found one bedding fish about 3.5lbs.  We ended up with 21lbs and some change with big fish going 4lbs 12oz.

Turnout is looking good, talked to a few new guys at the ramp this week who said they are coming.  A lot of guys out practicing this week, great conditions.

With the fish being almost done bedding at Burt/Mullet, I stopped at Saginaw on the way home.  Checked a few groups of fish and was suprised to find some fresh fish that have pulled up since last monday.  I guess the cold lake huron can hold them back a bit.  Looking forward to getting back to some good bed fishing, burt mullet was a grind.

Thanks to nemesis baits for donating a $50 gift certificate towards the largemouth big bass bounty.

Would like to thank Century 21 Row and David Reault for sponsoring the Big Bass prize.

Lightningboy

Looks like we should give a big thanks to the Lord also; weather predictions look like the bay is gonna treat us kindly.  In fact, we might have some nearly calm water for a big part of the day.

This could be seriously sweet... ;D

Lightningboy

Well, last minute correction on that.  Looks like the bay is gonna get rockin' a little this afternoon.

But tomorrow looks SPECTACULAR!   8)
