I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

hey guys, was wondering if anyone has fished traverse city area this time of year and if so some tips or lakes that are better than others . the family and I are going there this weekend for a week vacation.  thanks for all replys.....

Dan

Land of 10,000 lakes. The area is full of top notch smallie lakes. Check out the many articles that I have on my teardropbass.com website and search on this site. We have batted around this topic on GLB several times this year.

thanks Dan, I read a few of the articles. Are there any lakes that stand out more for walleyes? I assume the smallies have all finished spawning on the bay? last post on that topic was some time ago. thanks again.

Dan

Long Lake has some good eyes. They troll right around the basin near the public launch on the northwest end. Lake Leelanau has good eyes as well, but I've never fished for them there.
