Day one has KVD a pound back of leader Bobby Lane.

I'm heading for KY lake thursday. Maybe I will find a couple of those 7 n' 8 pounders.

bassmandan

Yes, but the FLW guy's will be at the other end of the lake, 90+ miles away, plus Barkley is right there for them too. I don't know if there is much difference from the North end of Kentucky Lake to the South end as far as depth goes. It'll be won deep though, but those fish are just being pounded so we'll se what happens.

bassmandan

yep i knew that they were on the northern side, and i also know it would be a long drive to the southern end but there are crazies that would make that run. of course im not sure where bassboss is launching from either thus for the heads up, i forgot to mention where they were launching from but you said it so its all good  :)

We're staying in Grand Rivers, right between the dams. I was there last year during the Blue Grass Brawl. It was really something to see those pros racing up and down the lake. The best part about those lakes are their size. Its not like these lakes in West Michigan, no matter how busy it gets, it IS possible to find a creek or some ledges all to yourself.

dashaver63

Guess I should read ALL the posts before I reply. Good luck down there bassboss, should be fun, I hear they are catching 50 to 60 a day.

bassboss

Well, I didn't find any huge fish, got one about 6, but the 30 or 40 fish days are true. Then on saturday we went to dinner at a little diner and I saw David Walker a couple tables over. Good Trip.
