Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Just before the October Natural Resources Committee meeting on Thursday, October 9, Commissioner John Walters added an amendment to Fisheries Order 206 – “Bass - Closed bass CIR season from May 1 – Friday before the third Saturday in June for Burt, Mullet, Crooked, Pickerel, and Black Lakes and their connecting waters.”

Anybody interested in going down to fish the Stren on Kentucky lake in May? How about the FLW tour  at Champlain in July?

 Im thinking about it. I need to see what happens with work these coming months. I need a new boat and everything! Are you fishing as a boater? If not im pretty sure i already got my co(TCOOK). I was planing on going down there in march and stuff fishing the BFLs and see what i could find!-skeeterman-let me know

I would be going as a co. I have to survive a round of layoffs in the coming weeks. If I do I am going for sure.

Have you guys heard when registration starts???  I haven't been able to find anything on the FLW site...Last year it started in early December so I would think it would be close to the same this year..

Houston I know what you are going through with the layoffs, I am in the same boat. It makes it tough to commit to the tournaments 6 months ahead of time, but if you don't register in December you may not get in..
