Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Two new message boards have been added to the GreatLakesBass.com Bass Fishing Forum.

1. I get asked for help by person looking for a new bass club fairly often. I know some about some of the clubs, but clubs are changing and evolving all the time. I try to get to all the requests and help out but self-service is often faster and gets better results. So, if you're looking for a new fishing or bass club, try posting what state and area you are looking for a club in, and what type of club you're interested in on the "Find a New Bass Club" board.

Look under the Bass Clubs section below or use the link above. Now is a great time to look for and get established in a new club. You can also check out The Bass Federation of Michigan for information on TBF-affliated clubs.

2. The other new board is under the Tournaments section. Though it is not strictly a bass or fishing tournament, it is a huge deal, particularly during 2009. Fantasy Fishing will give up to $10 MILLION away!!! That's right, $10 MILLION!! No fishing required. You don't even have to be an angler to play. ANYONE can play!! It's easy.

$100,000 will be given as a top prize at each FLW Tour event with the overall winner at the end of the season taking home a cool MILLION BUCKS!!! See the Fantasy Fishing board for more details and to talk about the contest as the season progresses!

If you want to go right to the Fantasy Fishing web site, use this link to sign up and start. You can play for free or sign up as a Player's Advantage member to increase your chances to win big!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
Unless clearly stated as such, opinions expressed by Dan Kimmel on this forum are not the opinions or policies of The Bass Federation of Michigan.
