I am looking to fish Charlevoix next week.  I launched out of Ironton the one time I fished it before but I hear that launch is closed.  What are the better launches to use?  Can someone tell me what areas warm first?  From reading reports on other sites, it sounds like the spawn is just starting.  I am going to be in the area starting June 8th.  I'll be fishing the bay primarily but I like to fish a new body of water any time I am in the area.  Any other tips are welcomed as well.  Thanks for the help.

Not sure what the water temps are, but I heard north arm is still cold. There is the municipal launch on stover road next to Irish boat shop. Dutchman's bay on the south arm east shore , and a new one at east jordan that I'm not sure is open yet. Boyne city and the state park both have launches as does Horton bay.

I think you may hit it pretty close to being good....The wind was blowing pretty bad the day I was on Charlevoix so it made it tough...I saw roaming fish but nothing locked on beds...Temps were from 49 degrees to 53 degrees last Sunday...
I got into decent Bass fishing and good Walleye fishing on Walloon
So I spent 3 of my 4 days over there....Brought home some nice Walleye filets..
