Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Congratulations to MadWags and Briboy for their big catch of 21-11 in beautiful Lake St Clair smallmouth bass taking 1st place by a mere 3 ounces over last year's champ cast n blast (fishing with TCook this year)!!! The weather was not the greatest, but the fishing was still pretty good for most of us.

1 Big 'Junk' Fish Winner

*2 Big Bass winner

I think everyone caught bass almost to a person, but a couple teams were ultra-conservation minded and save their bass additional strain by not turning in their score sheets!! ;D

The online DK Open Champions Plaque has been updated with the latest tournament results - you can see who has been victorious to date!

MadWags and Briboy took home a whopping $102 and prizes for their 1st place finish.

Missing his 2nd Spring DK Open victory in a row by a mere 3 ounces, this time fishing with TCook, cast n blast and TCook received $68 (or 18 gallons of gas ;D) and prizes including Kim Stricker's Smallmouth Neighborhood Vol II DVD for their big 21-8 catch of smallies.

cast n blast also took the coveted Big Junk Fish Award of a KaRu Vibra Series Sampler kit for his 7-2 Northern Pike, beating out chunky sheepshead challenges by Briboy and Hooksetter.

Big Bass of a whopping 5-12 measurement (which means it was probably well over 6 in Lake St Clair spring fat) was caught by perennial high finisher and 2-time champion Jay-MadWags. Jason received $68 and a very nice Grandt All American Series spinning rod for his huge catch (I saw him catch it too)!!

Forgot to mention some of the other great prizes for 1st place and big bass - courtesy of Wonderland Marine West - first place and big bass both receive gift certificates they can use for supplies, oil, whatever at their extensive store.
