Well it's that time of year that myself,  like everyone else on the boards is feelin the itch.  What do you guys do in the meantime before ice out and the season starting? I have cleaned and oiled my rods and reals, organized tackle and got the boat ready to go. What do you all do to cure the itch of bass opener????

YpsiBass

I went ice fishing for pike and panfish a couple weeks ago and a couple bass got confused...

Big dreams

HAHA!  Nice Bass man.  How do they fight in that cold water?

YpsiBass

They tug pretty good, but it was on a tipup so it's a different experience pulling it up hand over hand. Believe it or not, that's one of the smaller ones that day.

I sit in my boat, that is already loaded and gassed up. I make boat noises. I push buttons on the fish finders. I run the Talons up and down. That's what I do. For some reason, none of my friends want to go fishing with me.

I have enjoyed numerous cold boys in the boat this winter. Wish I had talons to play with!!!! Haha

When the water is soft again let me know and I'll get in the truck and head west.
