Been woking in my garage making my Man Cave for the winter.   Might go fishing later this week if the weather warms up some.

Nope.  Celebrated my 40th wedding anniversary with my bride.  Some times I don't catch and release.

I went to reeds in gr. Caught slaunches. Boom.

I went to the Madwags event and caught pneumonia. Just kidding. I'm not sick. My partner and I struggled. Not a good day for us.

went to dewart lake and fought the wind and whitecaps but not the parking lot crowd- i was the second boat at 9.00 a.m. tried the calmer water first but nothing showing so i put on my deepest diving crankbait and a brown football jig and drifted across the open water trying to dredge up something, drifted across a flat and caught the longest and skinniest pike i/ve ever caught, girth around 6" and around 25" long on a white spinnerbait.

the funniest part was watching the "lakers" take the pontoons out for the year,  i was 5th in line and and it took me 20 minutes before my turn came up

Went to the Madwags on Manistee and did just a little better than Mike S.  I didn't get sick either!

Went to Belleville with the BIL.

Caught 2 small smallies, and a couple of white bass.  Fought the wind.  Kinda sucked.

Need to stick some big smallies before the snow flies.

Fished Pere Marquette on Thursday and did ok, my friend caught his PB smallie at 4.7#s so he was excited. Drove to Mullett & fished Friday & Saturday and struggled. Wind kept shifting and was difficult to get and stay on any spots. We managed a few smallies & pike and another friend caught a 42" Muskie on a crankbait which was cool. Other than that, drank some beer and watched football. Water temps on Mullett was around 60 degrees, Crooked Lake was 56.

Fished the D & R classic on Cadillac and Mitchell. It was an absolute grind, but Shaun and I caught some fish and finished 8th. I'm looking forward to going back up there sometime, they seemed like really cool lakes with some nice fish in them.

Went to the madwags thing in manistee.  Caught a pike and lost a pair of pliers.  Bass elude me.
