I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Check out the NBAA website (www.nbaa-bass.com) there is a list of up coming tournaments, you can sort by lake, date, division.  If a guy wanted to and didn't mind driving a little bit, you could fish a tournament 7 days a week!

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

There's some Saginaw - Bay City area clubs. You'd have to drive a ways. If you're interested, just post it on here since many of them visit this website.

There is a local group that bass fishes in St. Louis but they're not really a club. I can contact someone who has been involved in the past to see what is going on this year.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Mid State Bass busters is a club that has been around since 1976 and fishes jordan, muskegon freemont croton crystal chippewa big star & morrison
it's a partner tourney that fishes on Sundays excempt for one sat and cost $80 a day per team to fish

I grew up in that area.  I will say that there are very few lakes within a short distance. So you will have to drive a little. Like DK said, there are some tourneys on the river in St. Louis.  I'm not sure who puts that on, but I swear I read about it last year... Maybe Eric?
I'm pretty sure 10-10 bass busters are the closest club. Fishing around the Mt. Pleasant - Lakeview area. You are going to have to do some Google homework, I dont think anyone has a formal list of this years tourneys like the previous years (if there is I dont know about it).

Everything else is going to be a longer drive. Crystal lake has alot of tourney action, but that is still a 45 min. drive.

Good luck and let me know if I can help out with any info.

Eric

I would get with Eric.  He lives by Lakeview and is pretty in touch with all things bass in that area.

I may be going castaway bass club this summer. It's based out of big rapids, and fishes Chippewa, Mescosta and Martiny.

Thanks to everyone that replied, you all are a great help, this is a great site!

Eric

There's a good chance that you will be taking home some of Eric's money if you fish Castaway.
