Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yes it was very informational and fun Dan. Thanks for taking the time to educate our kids. You and Wayne were a big hit and I hope you will be able to do it again. See you in GR.
When you are in any contest you should work as if there whereto the very last minute a chance to loose it.

djkimmel

I should be thanking everyone else for letting me get up there and have fun (and for giving me the chance to call Wayne - Drew Carey ;D)

I need to thank you for letting my kids win free stuff from Xtreme.  I made sure they picked out the right colors!!  8) ;D

I'm not a narc so you didnt hear this from me but both my kids were given 10 bucks each by Joshimoto to pick dead stickin'.

Dan,  Might I suggest rigging weedless next year?  For those that werent there, if there was any possible way to snag in the tank, Kimmel snagged it!!!!  ;D

I too want to give CUDOS to Dan for not falling in...lol.

That was a great idea that can be expanded on for future things.

Yes, Dan did find ways to snag or hook what ever was in the tank, except a fish....lol ;D  I am glad that Dan came into the Directors meeting to talk about VHS....cause for the longest time, I thought that style of movie recordings were coming back....lol  I did learn a lot more about it from Dan.

I also learned what not to throw in a 5ft tank of water if ya didn't want to stick a rock or one of the 2 stumps on either end....lol.

Great Job to Dan and Idea to Wayne.

Squid...not Snot

Sounds like i missed the fun by a couple hours...that's alright I still had alot of fun. It was kind of nice being able to walk around and look without running into someone every two seconds. Got to meet a couple new people and picked up a few baits from Wayne. Not a bad show...

We definitely had some fun with Wayne's 'gameshow' idea. I'm thinking syndication here... and franchises... and maybe even spinoffs!!!!

I knew the fix was in somehow! As far as snagging... haven't you ever heard the big name pro's talk about maintaining great contact with the bottom. I don't know how it could be done any better than what I did...???? (not counting the times I snagged the wood before reaching bottom... ;D )

2nd annual winner takes all....Saturday's indoor fishing tournament.  The only one of it's kind.  I think it is $5 entry fee....you get 5 minutes...biggest fish of the event wins.

And to think...this all started out as a fun joke in Lansing last year....lol

tritonman

Who is providing the secret bait for this secret tournament?

Just remember whose Idea it was and give credit where credit is due. LOL ;D

The big question is will Dan Kimmel pull it off this year or will he become the new Aaron Martens and finish second two years in a row.  ;D

As far as lures, depends on what is stocked into Lake Ultimate. I borrowed a hot bait last year in GR for the mostly trout, and used Xtreme Bass Tackles tubes and trailers two years ago on Lake Tank in Lansing.

I'm rededicating myself to going for the win this time!!! Or 2nd. Or 3rd. As long as it is fun!

Yes...credit it does go to mini me...lol  Yeah...Mr Watts wanted to get me in trouble with that...but it ended up being a lot of fun and Show Span took it one step further.

Dan was 2nd?   hummmmm I didn't think he did that well last year...lol
