Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

So it looks like not only has Cabelas pushed the neighboring Gander Mountain out of the fishing market, it looks like Gander is going to end their 8 year run of Wed. night tournaments.  It seems corporate Gander isn't going to support it anymore (what, the other store in town can't handle it or what?).  It's too bad.  This was a nice weeknight club that we looked forward to every week (and made some decent money too!).

So, anyone else in the GR area know of a Wed. night club?

What did Gander actually bring to the table?

They paid Randy to be there and run the event, and provided a lot of $10 Gander gift cards to give away, probably in the neighborhood of $150-200 a season.

Well I talked to Randy tonight.  Wed. nights at Wabasis is back on for sure.  May even still have Gander backing it but not from the store itself.  And it's $750 worth of gift cards they've given out in the past... so not chump change by any means.

Good, now I have my Wednesday nights all set again.   ;D
