Fished Grand and Long lakes this past weekend in a Team Bass Tournament...Weather was great but warm for this time of year...I had the water temperatures pushing 70 degrees on my HBs...

Fish seemed to be in different stages throughout the lake but I would say the majority of fish were caught sight fishing...Either Bed fishing or catching roamers as they moved in and out of the shallows and up and down the rocky shoals...Everyone was scattered all over both lakes, there didn't seem to be any one area that was the hot spot...

I fished a shallow Dropshot setup, tubes and crankbaits..I am not sure what every one else threw but I would assume it was along the same line...

On Grand..Brandon (Savage) netted over 18lbs with 17+ taking second and third...I had 14.8 and I am not even sure I was in the top 10

On Long Brandon won again..(There is a reason he just missed a Bassmaster classic appearance by a few places)....He had over 16 with Second and Third being over 13lbs..Blakestr ended up Third.. I had 11lbs but the weights were a bit lighter on Long so I probably ended up in the Top 10 there for sure...

It was a great week and it was good to see the Team Bass Crew after taking last year off.....
