Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

here's the report

went to the meeting tuesday night and met my boater Stuart Arthur from Wisconsin.  he has some fish on the North Shore but was only getting 5-6 bits a day.  met him wed morning in his Ranger R83.  lake was smooth till Colechester then got a little bumpy.  stayed on one spot all day.  we would catch one an hour.  i had a hot streak and got my limit and Stu only had 3.   he was a little quiet till he got his limit. must have been a good spot Steve Clapper stopped by to fish and chat.  he was having a tough day also.  made it back in time. weighed in 13.14.  met my day 2 partner Randy Ramsey.  he was on fish close to the launch and had weighed in almost 19 on day one.  we were boat 80 but only had a short run.  we were fishing by 7:20.  at 7:35 i landed a 4.05 .  then at 7:50 i landed a  3.4  Randy caught 2 around 3 also.  we fished till 10:00 only catching small fish and walleye.  he decided it was time to go so off we went towards Kingsville.  got to admit his 521 rode better than the R83.  fished from past kingsville all the way back to the river.  Randy got two along the way.  i caught some nice sheephead and did manage to lose about a 2 pounder at the net.  made it back in and weighed in 7.09.  for a total of 21.07 for 59 place.  as usual lots of sad and happy faces at the weigh in.   it was a very well run event.  water and snacks at the weigh in,  which is broadcast live on the net.  they have a really neat release pontoon boat and take the fish to the middle of the river to release them.
so thats the story.  guess if it was easy everyone would be doing it.
