I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

fed up with the grease bearing set up on my trailer, carries my Triton, and thinking of doing the swap to oil bath hubs....any insight from those that have done it ?  those that have oil bath hubs ?

thanks  capt charlie

The newer tritons come with a oil/grease system that is maintenance free and has a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty.  I belive it is call the vault or something like that.

I have the same bearings...Are you sure it isn't 5 years for the warranty??

I haven't done alot of follow up since getting the boat.....Either way..I wonder who works on those bearings in this area when it comes time to have them serviced..

My Ranger is a 2002.  It has oil bath hubs and I would not have a trailer with out them.  There is a sight glass on the cap that shows that there is oil in there.  If the oil gets low or turns white from moisture you know right away.  Changed the oil last year because I never had before.  Looked like new when I drained it out.
