Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Most clubs have allowances for anglers 16 and older. You may have to have one adult in the boat, or it is possible a few clubs might allow you to fish together with written parent/guardian permission (though I have rarely seen that rule). Check out their rules.

There are several affiliated clubs in that area. I don't know about any unaffiliated clubs. Go to www.michigantbf.com and click on the About Us link for a list of their clubs. Go to www.michiganbass.net and click on the Clubs List link on the left edge. See what each has available.

Of course, you are still eligible to compete in either federation's Jr state championships. There also may be open tournaments in your area that would allow you to fish together possibly with written parental/guardian permission.

I think NBAA normally wants one person 18 or older in the boat to fish their leagues, but you can both fish together as a team with written parental/guardian permission.

So you have plenty of opportunity.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Jeremy,

I think you'll find that all the other people who posted on your post over at the other site are on this site as well.

Good luck
