Just joined the forum — been into bass fishing for a while and lately have gotten deep into baitcaster setups specifically (gear ratios, braking systems, tuning to stop backlash, that kind of thing). Looking forward to learning from everyone here and pic

Hi folks..Normally I keep my thought and prayers to myself and God.  But today I pray for my friend and colleague Mark who is in the hospital with fungal meningitis.  He received a tainted dose of steroids in his lower back a while ago.  Earlier this week he tested positive for fungal meningitis.  He underwent surgery yesterday to remove the infected tissue.  He seems to be recovering well and is apparently in good spirits.
Please send a good though and a prayer to him and his family.  He knows he has his follow teachers as well as God on his side.  Let's ask God to give him a hand in his recovery.

Thanks friends.

Will do Eric. Let him know he has a bunch of bass fishermen on his side too.

Prayers sent.  Hoping for a speedy recovery.

Lord I pray for our friend Mark and the tough times he is having.  May your healing hand be upon him in this time of need.  I pray that you uplift him and his family as they go through this.  Amen.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

I'm sorry I missed this. I should have seen it weeks ago. I have been following the general story but this reminds us how personal these are for someone somewhere.

I hope your friend recovered and is doing better?

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
