I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Great! I was just making the format clear for everyone. You can bring whomever you want and he/she can do whatever they want... but sometimes... you do just have to 'fish your bass off'... ;D

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I will be there as a boater.  I can swing by and pick Bill up.  Although last time we were supposed to ride together, i slept in a little too long.

We should probably have several phone numbers to call... and a couple large, loud alarm clocks to give you before... I just got another idea...

If there are any non-boaters looking for a ride up to Wixom (the morning of) let me know. I will be coming from the Lansing area.

I will be ringing PB's phone alittle earlier than last time. LOL

I'm in as a non-boater.  I'm really looking foward to it.

How far is this lake for Holland. It sounds like too much fun to miss.

djkimmel

It's a pretty far piece, but a fun lake to fish - a river-run reservoir with two different rivers blocked by one dam. A tannic-stained to clear smaller side in the Tobocca River and the bigger stained to clear farmland draining Titabawassee River.

Lots of wood, stumps and weeds. Miles and miles of it. Several bridges. Humps. A few rocks. Some toad smallies and largemouths.

Wixom Lake is in Gladwin County right at the Midland county line on M-30 North of Sanford and US 10. The dam is in Edenville, Michigan.

All those lakes on the Titabawassee River system are big bass lakes.

It's approximately 161 miles from Holland, but we'd love to have you there. There's a campground close by if you want to stay the night before. Some anglers are doing that.

Looks like i wont be able to fish as a boater.  My boat is in baaaaaaad shape.  Actually, my motor is in baaaaaad shape.  Thought i blew a head gasket ( which i did ) but once we took it apart, we realized that i had a spliit piston.  I am going to be shore fishing for some time.

Maybe we can have another tournament.  How about the DK Shore Fishing League?

If we look good on boaters i will come up as a non boater.

I verified today with Fiker50 that I will be in as a boater.

I'll add it all up and make a list tonight/tomorrow night and post a count. I have to work late tomorrow night, so I may not post it until Wednesday night.

I can't come :(.  It was supposed to be my weekend off and the boss asked me to work for him.  So I have to work.  I so wanted to come too.  I can only hope you do this again next year and I can come then.

Mean old boss. I was hoping by having it at Wixom that more of you west and nw-siders could make it this year.

Yeah mean ole boss :( and the worst part is I probably won't even make any money.  I will however expect you all will report on how much fun you guys had and who got the silly prizes for being the goofiest and all the fun stuff that I missed right?
