This is our fourth year for the annual Lake Allegan Open, this year we are raffling off a new Ardent Edge Elite Reel of your choice, valued at over $300, proceeds will go to the Rabbit River Kids Tournament fund.  If you would like to purchase a ticket please contact Josh at 616-886-0320, we will only be selling twenty tickets, so chances are good you might win this reel. You can purchase a ticket even if you are not going to fish. Winning ticket will be drawn at the tournament. Tournament details below:

I've been out there twice in 2 weeks.  Whacked them good one day, dinks the next.  I'm looking forward to it!

One question... are we fishing largest or smallies? Never fished there but planning on trying it anyways

Both the lake has a good number of smallies and a decent largemouth pop.  Problem is it fishes small most time, but you can catch a ton of fish on the right day.

Jimmy/Kevin won with 10.45, big bass was 2.88.  Everyone had a limit, but the fishing was tough.
