Every once in a while I come across something that is just handy and I like to pass it along. If you are on the computer a lot, and would like some hands free phone action try Spyke.com. Once downloaded you can make calls from your computer to anyone in the country for 2 cents a minute. You dial on your computer it rings on their phone. I have two sons who live in California and it works great. You get voice mail, conference calling (both boys can call at the same time and all three of us can talk. You can also buy a local number in any area code. For instance I bought a 530 area code number in California for $10 for three months. My boys can call that number from any phone within that area code and it rings on my computer and we can talk for as long as we want. Kind of like having an 800 number. My techy nephew showed me the ropes over Christmas. Another plus is that it keeps track of your calls and you can print off that list if you want. Again, this isn't an ad, trying to get you to buy something. It's something I find very useful and would like to share with others that may want something like it. I have a Mac with an external mic and I don't use a headset. Just talk to the computer and the sound comes out the speakers. Can surf the fishing sites and talk on the phone at the same time. It isn't fishing, but....

Been using Skype for a couple of years.  Works really well if you prefer talking to someone over IMing them...
