Ok guys and gals.  Dan has set the date and location. 

Saturday 9/23/06 at Wixom Lake - the MDNR ramp on the Tobacco.

So how about we register so that he can make sure we have enough boaters.

I'm in as a boater too. I'll put together a list this Sunday after the BFL so I can make sure we'll have enough boaters and nonboaters to match up. I posted one campground I have stayed at before on the other thread if anyone needs that info.

I hope we get a number of those Saginaw area 'young guns' to come too and put us on the big ones!?!

 if going, boater - as i got a club tournament the 24th on neppessing and to stay overnite on saturday. i'm still pondering the idea and where to stay, when to head up and what the girlfriend as to say about, if she wants to join me or not. will let u know soon.

Last year we did a draw format so everyone could meet someone new. I was planning on the same format this year - seems the majority overall likes it that way.

What about an option to fish with your wife or girlfriend.  My wife loves to fish, but is not comfortable fishing with others.  I am sure a lot of "better halfs" are that way.

I'm thinking about coming over for the tourney,  if I do it will be as a non boater.  When I know for sure I will let you know for certain.  But I would really like to.  Husband is bear hunting that weekend so I might as well fish right?  I think it will be a blast.

hoping that i didn't start anything w/mentioning of girlfriend comiing up. she don't do tournaments. just a thought if she was interested in traveling w/me. she'd go shopping or something while i was on the water. but w/2 days on the water w/tournaments and gone most of the day, probably not appealing for her to go. boys must be boys for their fixes.
