I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I know the weather has been summer like for a while but that's not what I'm talking about.  I mean summer pattern bass should be here any time now.  On some lakes they are already in summer pattern and other lakes almost there.  Summer pattern for me means catching bass on deep weed lines and docks.  My favorite bait for both of those techniques is a Kustom Kicker Jigs Dock Monkey.  The name says it all, it is a dock fishing machine.  It is the best skipping jig I have ever fished.  Also it's standup up design makes it an awesome deep water jig too.  It is my "go to" jig all summer.  However when the bite is a little tough or they just won't eat a bigger jig I move to the Kustom Kicker Jigs Wreaking Ball jig.  It an amazing smaller profile round head jig designed for any depth and more finicky fish.  Match either jig with your favorite trailer and start wackin' big bass!

What is your favorite bait and technique for catching summer pattern bass?

I like a bunch of other lures too.

I will use a drop shot once in a while because it might work good.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
