Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Yeah Kim has had a good tournament thus far, he didn't catch a big weight yesterday but just better than the other guy.  It would be different fishing in a bracket tournament like that, adds a different dimension I guess.  I think it might help focus a bit, knowing you are only really worrying about one guy each round until you hit the final 12.  Hopefully Kim can pull it off, he's had a pretty consistent season.  If he can't though I'll continue to pull for Jay Yelas, earned a lot of respect for him after riding around Lake Toho with him this past February at the Classic.

I hope Kim does well also.

Everytime I've talked to  him, or emailed him, he's been more than helpful with advice and tips.

Besides, it's always cool to see a "local" boy do well.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Well 12th place for $18,000...probably not what he hoped for but darn good from my angle!

Yup. Congratulations to Kim Stricker of Howell Michigan on a great finish in the FLW Tour championship!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Congrats to Kim!!
I hope he gets a day or two off and then starts getting Volume 2 of Smallmouth Neighborhood out. Can't wait to get a hold of another of his DVD productions. The first one is super!!
