I've been messing around with foiling lately.  Since I haven't really built any topwater baits for myself, and have never tried building a prop bait, I decided on this.  A little rough in a couple places, but overall, I'm pretty happy with it.

I like it.  Wish I had more time to build my own.

Got one!

How much are you going to charge for them?

GLB members get a discount, I'm sure. ::)

Will that float on it's side, then turn upright when you work it? (like Brian's)  Looks awesome as usual....

I won't be selling any of these.  I think if I added up the hours between putting it together and painting it, I'd have to charge an arm and a leg to break even.

Thanks!  The plan is to have it sit upright when it's sitting still, and then have it flash on it's side when it's being worked.  That's the plan, anyways  :D.  I won't know for sure until I get some hooks on it and try it out.

Hey Jeff, what was the name of that multi species bait we painted latmyear ? Something perch ?  I forgot.

Anyhow, I'd pay a (non hook setting) arm + one of charlies legs to do a shad off white with a touch of orange and pink or  mustard and blue/purple ?

I love your work brose and am a real fan. Keep up the art !
Thanks Dan for bringing year round Catch and Release to Michigan
