This is a tale of two lakes. Intertwined lakes, in Barry County, Michigan. Where somehow the water has gone away. Upper and Lower Crooked Lakes, both near and dear to me, are suffering from the lowest water levels I've seen in the 35+ years I've been fishing them.

Kev is out.  Steve is out.  Shaner is out.  That leaves me, grant, jeff, and brian the big game hunter himself, and whoever else is interested.  Still havent got a 'fo shizzle' from jeff or brian the big game hunter himself yet, so in reality that leaves me and grant.

Anyone else?  Anybody?  Hello?????  is this thing on?  is anyone out there?  where am i?

I'm out...I forgot it's my Mom's B-day today and my Bro's on Saturday.  I have to go buy cards and gifts tonight (nothing like waiting till the last minute...).

Well, looks like i win by default.  I think its safe to say that i am on fire at this point. 

Sucks you pansys cant make it, but i understand.  Maybe next thursday will be better for everyone.

so did you pull off the win.   won't be able to make it for a while.  fishining Wed night and Sat or Sun the next 3 weeks is keeping me busy.

No, actually.  I got my bum handed to me by none other than MaizeNBlew.  He boated 3 keeper fish to my one short fish.  So much for the streak.  I was proud of Grant tho.  Not only for beating me, but for catching a new lake record ( for him ) 3 keepers.  At one point he actually broke into tears.  He was pretty excited.
