This is a tale of two lakes. Intertwined lakes, in Barry County, Michigan. Where somehow the water has gone away. Upper and Lower Crooked Lakes, both near and dear to me, are suffering from the lowest water levels I've seen in the 35+ years I've been fishing them.

The next general TBF of Michigan meeting is scheduled for 1pm on Sunday November 6, 2011 at Bass Pro Shops in Auburn Hills. The meeting will be on the 2nd floor in the archery room I believe as it has been in the past.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

The president position changed but the board is the same as elected in April.

Oh... you mean after the meeting. Misunderstood that you were referring to something else.

I'm not running for the board. I did a total of 16 years between the two federations. I'm in retirement.

I can't be at the meeting on Sunday, but if they discuss volunteers to work at the TBF booth (I am assuming they will have one) at the Ultimate Sports show in Grand Rapids, March 15-18, I would be more then willing to help out one of those days.  Just send me a IM and let me know what info you need from me.

Okay. Just remind me maybe after I post my meeting notes. As far as I know, they plan on being at the shows again.

I did confirm today that TBF of Michigan will be announcing the lakes and dates for the 2012 adult and junior state championship this Sunday. They will also be starting on a new, update-able website very soon. All good news.

TBF of Michigan will have a booth at the Ultimate Fishing Show Detroit and the Ultimate Sport Show GR.
