I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

A couple of friends and I (Marc Dehollander-Fastrack and Ed Dyer) have been hitting up some of the Lake Michigan shore area lakes for some smallmouth action the last couple weekend.  Been doing pretty well.  Most fish caught on smallie beavers, tubes, and senkos.  Here's some photos of our fun!!

See Dan... you should have shot me a message.  You're always welcome to join us.

A few more.  Best part of these fishing trips??  Absolutely NO OTHER BOATS on the lakes we fished.  At least no bass boats.  A few guys trolling around but we had NO one on any of our spots, and no waiting at the boat ramps.  A ton of fun!!

just put the boat away on sunday, managed a 5-10 a few days earlier and i'll be in north dakota for 10 days starting friday so.... stick 'em all.  fall fishing really eats into ducks season!

Fall fishing is more than enough like hunting for me! Plus I can throw back the big ole fish if I don't want to eat 'em (which I usually don't... I like pizza and cheeseburgers a lot better!)

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

WOW those fish are hogs!!! Manistee Lake is prob my all time favorite. I was a first time winner there several years back with Dan Shine. Here is a nice one I stuck flippin the reeds.

CMURoss.... that fish is the wrong color!!  LOL!!  Talked to Dan yesterday for quite some time.  Great guy with lots of good stories.

Ranger... water temp was 48 degrees... plus or minus a degree or so depending on where you were in the lake.

Heading back up this Sunday.  Probably gonna hit Pere Marquette again.

10 days in North Dakota. Sounds like a long ride home. Hope you shoot 1,000 ducks, geese, or snipe. Have fun.

That bass weighs exactly the same a brown bass the same size! Do other people know about that reed thing? If not, lets keep it quiet!

I remember a tournament I fished there about 100 years ago and everyone told us there were no bass in the reeds. So we went and fished them. And did pretty good!!

I was like... 'guys, you got any other spots that don't hold any bass?!?' ;D

Here's Marc's fish.  Bear in mind it was about 29 degrees when he caught this... that's why he looks so cold!

Weather should be decent this weekend. I will probably be hitting Arcadia and Betsie Bay this weekend. If no bass, still have a shot at a steelhead or brown. Luv those brown bass though!

Waterfoul

I'll be on Pere Marquette Sunday morning hunting the brown bass.  Probably the last trip of the year... unless mother nature cooperates NEXT weekend too!
