Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I used to have a Lowrance 332c and it died and Lowrance gave me some credit towards a HDS-5. Needless to say it lasted 3 months before it started going hay-wire. The GPS still worked but no depth and it started going into weird screens.I hope I made the right choice to stay with them. Guess i'll send it back and hope for the best. Anyone else have problems with them?

I've had some problems with some of their cheaper units so switched to a HB 798 si this year. Like it a lot and sold on customer service from HB.

BIGSHOW

If it was'nt for the credit they gave me I would have gotten one also. Guess I'm screwed..

Waterfoul

How old is the unit (how long ago did you purchase it).  Do you still have the receipt to prove the purchase date?  If so, and it's less than 1 year old, call Lowrance (Navico) and raise a stink.  I mean a STINK.  Go over the head of the first person you talk to if you have to.  Demand some satisfaction.

If that doesn't work out, get a 'Bird and never look back.
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

If anything, this post has made me shy away from any Lowrance HD purchases in the future.

BIGSHOW

Its only about 2-3 months old. It is under warranty. But the bad thing is when I get it i'll have to wait till spring to try it out and hope it works .They only give a 6 month warranty on trade in puchases. I hope the start my warranty over. If not i'm on my own. I would'nt recommend them. I feel like I've been screwed..
