Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

team format, COTM rules

Payout: 60%/25%/10%/5%, 60%/30%/10% at 3 spots, 70%/30% at 2

Paying 1 big bass

Ryerson lake is phenomenal semi-private lake. It fishes like many other Newaygo area lakes but has an abundance of 3-5lb fish. There is a public launch but no parking. We have arranged parking for up to 15ish boats with some homeowners near the ramp. In return we will donate $5 per entry to the lake stocking program. This will be a great spot to fish both for the excellent fishing and the fact there won't be tons of pleasure boaters out during the holiday weekend.

Please email me cyruel@gmail.com or Justin (jkeithley@gmail.com) if you plan on attending so I make sure we don't run out of parking and for directions.

For more info see:  www.westmichiganbass.com

Update: Just as a followup - to the Ryerson Tournament - due to limited access for most people, the lake is off limits until sunday morning. For those who do have access please abide by this to keep things as fair as possible for Sunday - on a different note i have commitment from 6 boats already so hopefully we can get a few more. 10-12 would be ideal.

More like spectactular fishery! My parents have a place on the lake and I've been fishing it for about 20 years. Unfortunately I can't make this one, but anybody who wants an opportunity to fish a great lake should make it to this tournament.

A 20lb. + bag is NOT out of the question here, because like Cy said, the lake is chock full of 3-5lb class fish.

Good luck to those who are fishing the tournament. This lake flat out produces.

Here's a picture of the 22lb bag Waterfoul and I had a few years ago there:
