If you're thinking about purchasing a Troll Perfect, the bad news is the price is going up (effective July 10th). The good news is the "Thumb Twist" adjustment clamp is now standard, and you have until 7/10/11 to get the current pricing. More and more pro's as well as weekend anglers are getting the Perfect advantage, check it out!

It the thumb twist retrofittable to the one I already have?  If so, how do I go about getting one?

Yep, you can switch to the "Twist" clamp, call 248-747-8520 for more info, or email through "contact" page on web site.

When I got mine at the Wonderland Spring fling, the guy was swapping out the stainless steel thumb screws for the older standard screw.  I hardly ever adjust the screw, but I can see where have a convenient thumb screw on the water would be cool.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Yeah. Still playing with the thumb screw to get mine just right. I notice though that I am also playing with it in various fishing conditions and the speed of the water or my fishing changes.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

The one I bought came with the thumb screw. It does make it convenient for adjustment, although I have pretty much tweaked it in
